Senior Product Owner

Our client is a global family-owned industrial company headquartered in Germany, operating internationally across multiple markets and industries. As part of its ongoing digital transformation, the organization is strengthening its global IT structure and building a modern product-oriented approach across Business Applications.

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of agile product management principles and practical experience applying them.
• Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution.
• Experience working closely with business departments and IT delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with enterprise applications or digital transformation initiatives.
• Understanding of business processes in areas such as procurement, order management, finance, or supply chain.
• Experience with SAP environments.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or other complex business environments.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with Procure-to-Pay or Order-to-Cash processes.
• Experience building product teams or introducing product-oriented ways of working.
• Background in business transformation, IT consulting, or enterprise application management.

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned enterprise applications.
• Establish and develop Product Ownership practices within the IT organization.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, stakeholder needs, and strategic objectives.
• Translate business requirements into clear product goals and actionable development priorities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, IT teams, developers, architects, and security specialists.
• Support agile ways of working and actively contribute to Scrum-based delivery processes.
• Ensure alignment between business processes, technology capabilities, and product development.
• Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, and collaboration models.
• Support user acceptance testing and ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
• Identify opportunities to improve product team capabilities, processes, and ways of working.
