Data Modeller

A financial sector project team supporting global, regional, and local businesses with data modelling across various geographies, working closely with Data CIOs and Data Officers.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with relational, dimensional, and/or analytic data using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL platforms, ETL, and data ingestion protocols
• Knowledge of metadata management, data modelling, and related tools such as Erwin or Visual Paradigm
• Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-centre contexts
• Experience in team management, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong oral English skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with MongoDB

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Oversee implementation of RDBMS, operational data stores, application databases, data marts, and data lakes on various platforms (SQL/NoSQL/cloud/on-prem)
• Govern expansion of existing data architecture and optimize data query performance
• Implement business and IT data requirements via new data strategies and designs
• Collaborate with business and application/solution teams to build data flows and develop models
• Define and govern data modelling/design standards, tools, and best practices
• Identify architecture, infrastructure, interfaces to data sources, and tools supporting automated data loads, security, analytics, and visualizations
• Perform hands-on modelling, design, configuration, installation, and performance tuning
• Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and reduce project delivery risks
