Senior iOS Engineer

Jeppesen ForeFlight develops digital solutions for flight planning, navigation and aviation operations used by pilots to plan flights, navigate and make informed decisions in demanding operational environments.

• Several years of professional experience developing complex iOS applications.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, including modern language features and concurrency.
• Familiarity with the Apple development ecosystem and experience with UIKit and XCode.
• Understanding of architectural decisions, memory usage, data structures and multithreading affecting performance and stability.
• Comfortable working in large, mature codebases with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures with awareness of data volume and access patterns.
• Experience with C++ is an advantage but not required.
• Professional communication skills in English and Polish.

Nice to have:

• Experience in aviation, navigation, mapping, or similarly technically complex products.

• Design, develop and maintain iOS functionality in Swift, from technical design and implementation to testing and release.
• Work across the application, including user-facing features, application logic and the underlying technical architecture.
• Investigate and solve complex challenges related to performance, concurrency, memory management, algorithms and data structures.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, code reviews and technical decisions that support the long-term development of the product.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers, product specialists and aviation-domain experts to transform complex requirements into reliable and intuitive functionality.
