The team at Allegro maintains and tunes Kubernetes (running on-premise and in Public Cloud) and its ecosystem, applying FOSS technologies or developing own solutions when necessary.
Wymagania
- Proven, real-world experience with Linux (especially Ubuntu – storage management, installation, configuration, administration).
- Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies (Docker, Containerd).
- Daily use of Git and Bash.
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, HTTP, SSL).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English and Polish at minimum B2 level.
Nice to have:
- Automation using Terraform.
- Experience with Public Cloud concepts and providers (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
- On-premise Kubernetes experience (building environments, troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with tools such as Helm, Calico, GitLab, GitHub, Vault, Consul, BGP, or Argo.
- Programming skills in Python or Golang.
Obowiązki
- Operate and maintain production Kubernetes systems running on-premise and in Public Cloud.
- Work in accordance with the GitOps philosophy.
- Automate and optimize tools related to team operations and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Build and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and develop custom tools according to team needs and requirements when FOSS options are insufficient.
- Participate in daily meetings, handle backlog tasks, and resolve business-critical issues as they arise.
