Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer position at EER Poland focusing on RTOS, communication, critical systems, and secure embedded systems. The role involves working on low-level firmware and communication with backend systems within embedded security and communication modules. The project includes two main MCU units: a low-power safety/power controller (nRF5340 or similar) and a communication/application controller (i.MX RT1061 or similar).
Wymagania
- Strong knowledge of C/C++ in embedded systems
- Experience working with MCUs (e.g., STM32, nRF, ESP32)
- Familiarity with communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, and BLE or other wireless
- Experience in designing embedded systems architecture, not only implementation
- Ability to debug HW/SW systems (JTAG, SWD, system logs)
- Experience designing interfaces and APIs between system components
Nice to have:
- Experience with secure embedded systems (device identity, secure update concepts, integrity, tamper resistance)
- Experience with OTA and bootloaders (rollback, recovery, update safety)
- Knowledge of RTOS systems (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
- Experience with device-to-backend communication (WebSocket, MQTT, REST)
- Background in automotive or industrial embedded systems
- Knowledge of provisioning, fleet management, and BLE onboarding systems
Nice to have (not required):
- Experience with OCPP
- Experience with Zephyr RTOS
- Experience with embedded Linux (Buildroot, Yocto)
Obowiązki
- Develop firmware for security components and communication modules
- Design and improve communication between two MCUs
- Work with real-time logic, state machines, and error handling
- Create and maintain hardware drivers (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO)
- Design and develop wireless communication systems (BLE onboarding, provisioning, data exchange)
- Ensure stable backend communication via OCPP over WebSocket or similar device-cloud protocols
- Work on OTA updates, rollback, recovery, and update security
- Perform low-level debugging using tools such as JTAG, SWD, and logic analyzers
- Design APIs and communication layers between system modules
