QA Engineer (Oracle Utilities) - Remote Work Type

The role supports a U.S. client focused on IT consulting and modernization in the energy and utilities sector, delivering solutions including Customer Information Systems and advisory services to improve efficiency and customer experience.

• Experience as a QA Engineer, Test Engineer, or Functional Tester in Oracle-based environments.
• Experience with Oracle Utilities systems.
• Knowledge of functional testing for enterprise applications.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, scenarios, and documentation.
• Experience with defect management and collaboration with technical and business teams.
• Ability to understand end-to-end business processes.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in an international environment.
• Good command of English for clear communication across global teams.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for Oracle-based applications.
• Review business and functional requirements to create test scenarios and test cases.
• Validate application behavior, business processes, and system changes across enterprise environments.
• Identify, document, track, and analyze defects and issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, developers, and support teams.
• Support testing activities related to deployments, enhancements, fixes, and production changes.
• Participate in root cause analysis and validation of issue resolutions.
• Maintain quality standards across releases and application changes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation, and testing practices.
