DFDS Poland is an international organization where the GDPR Specialist will be employed in the Master Data department, reporting to the Master Data Compliance & Governance Team Leader. The specialist will be part of a collaborative, cross-company core GDPR team spanning Legal, IT Security, and Data Governance departments, working within B2C, B2B, and B2E domains.
Wymagania
- 1–2 years of experience with data protection and GDPR
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work in a structured way and follow cases through to completion
- Thrive in a role coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Clear and concise communication skills, explaining complex topics to non-specialists
- Analytical skill set with a detail-oriented and data-focused approach, strong critical thinking, and ability to identify process gaps
- Solid analytical and documentation skills
- Flexibility and adaptability with ability to lead through influence in a cross-functional and fast-changing environment
- Curiosity and eagerness to seek new knowledge across disciplines
- Strong self-management skills
- Collaborative mindset and desire to work closely with colleagues and business partners
- Fluent English language skills
- Technical flair for IT systems is a bonus but not necessary
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate at all organizational levels
Obowiązki
- Data inventory and assessment of the organization's processing activities
- Screening of new processing activities and preparation of DPIAs (data protection impact assessments)
- Facilitating core team meetings
- Participating in cross-unit cooperation on common data protection law issues
- Preparation of specific guidelines, procedures, and instructions regarding data protection regulations across business units
- Supporting the core team's handling of personal data breaches
- Providing general counselling and guidance on GDPR and privacy regulations
