Senior DevOps Engineer (ephemeral environments)

SPEEDNET SP. Z O.O. is a Gdańsk-based software company specializing in applications for the banking, finance, and insurance industries. The company has a team of over 230 developers focused on web and mobile apps, supporting complex software solutions for clients for over 25 years. The current project involves developing a cloud platform for a Norwegian client in the financial sector, integrating task and workflow management, client communication, and compliance processes such as AML and KYC, designed for over 3,000 daily business users.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in production environments
• Practical experience with creating and managing ephemeral (ephemeral environments) environments
• Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure maintenance
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD processes
• Good understanding of observability, monitoring, and cloud environment security
• Experience in production ownership, ensuring environment stability, availability, and reliability
• Ability to independently diagnose and solve complex infrastructure problems
• Highly developed analytical skills and proactive approach to identifying improvement areas
• Very good command of English (minimum C1) enabling collaboration in an international environment

• Develop, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure for AWS applications
• Design, develop, and maintain ephemeral environments supporting efficient development and testing
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code approaches
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and improve build, test, and deployment processes
• Ensure stability and reliability of production environments and assume production ownership
• Develop observability, monitoring, and security solutions
• Diagnose infrastructure and production issues and identify root causes
• Collaborate with developers to implement new features and design infrastructure solutions
• Analyze existing DevOps environment and backlog to identify optimization and automation opportunities
• Ensure quality, scalability, and security of infrastructure and propose improvements
