Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Square One Resources is hiring a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer / Architect to join a team responsible for the development, modernization, and maintenance of extensive IT infrastructure in an enterprise environment. The role involves project, architectural, and administrative work with real impact on infrastructure development, standardization, and implementation of new technological solutions.

• Minimum 3 years of senior-level experience in IT infrastructure
• Experience in designing, developing, and modernizing IT infrastructure
• Very good knowledge of Windows Server / Active Directory, including GPO, DNS, DHCP, and PKI/ADCS
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter and Hyper-V
• Practical experience with High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery, replication, and testing recovery plans
• Knowledge of networking, segmentation, VPN IPsec, and FortiGate solutions
• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS, iSCSI, multipathing, LUN/datastore environments
• Ability to automate and script, especially using PowerShell; REST API experience is a plus
• Knowledge of monitoring and security tools such as Zabbix, Wazuh, FortiAnalyzer
• Experience in hardening, vulnerability management, and infrastructure security
• Nice to have: Infrastructure as Code with Ansible, Terraform, DSC
• Nice to have: experience with Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, RDS/FSLogix
• Nice to have: experience in ICT/OT, BMS environments or projects related to NIS2/KSC/ISO 27001
• Ability to independently analyze problems, design solutions, and manage infrastructure projects

• Design, develop, and modernize IT infrastructure, primarily on-premise
• Administer and develop Windows Server and Active Directory environments
• Design and maintain virtualization using VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter and Hyper-V
• Design and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
• Prepare, implement, and test recovery plans and replication
• Manage backup solutions, especially Veeam Backup & Replication
• Design and develop network and security infrastructure including segmentation, VPN, and FortiGate solutions
• Manage SAN/NAS environments, including iSCSI, multipathing, LUN/datastore
• Automate administrative and infrastructure processes using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code
• Monitor infrastructure and develop monitoring and security solutions
• Participate in hardening, vulnerability management, and infrastructure security projects
• Take part in integration and standardization of multiple ICT/OT environments across locations
• Collaborate on Microsoft 365, Azure, EntraID, Intune, and Microsoft services maintenance and development
• Analyze existing infrastructure, identify modernization needs, and design target solutions
• Prepare and implement infrastructure standards and technical documentation
• Support NIS2/KSC and ISO 27001 compliance projects
• Participate in automation and standardization infrastructure projects
• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure problems and provide L3 support
