Solution Architect

As a member of Auditdata's Architecture Group, you will join a highly skilled engineering organization building enterprise-grade solutions for audiology clinics and hearing care providers worldwide. This role involves owning system and integration design within your domains while participating equally in solution design through collaboration with Product, Sales, Delivery, and customers.

Must-haves:

• 10+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years in architecture or solution architecture within enterprise SaaS.
• Proven experience converting ambiguous business needs into solution designs.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Sales, or Customer Success as technical solution owner.
• Experience designing integration architectures including message bus, event streaming, REST APIs, webhooks.
• Experience with enterprise system landscapes.
• Practical knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture.
• Solid understanding of security and compliance for regulated data (GDPR, HIPAA plus).
• Strong background in Azure cloud services.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and architectural diagrams (e.g., C4).
• Strong communication skills with ability to adjust technical detail to audience.
• Confidence and credibility in customer-facing and commercial engagements including pre-sales.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have:

• Experience designing or evolving multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Experience integrating with healthcare systems (EHR/EMR, HL7, FHIR).
• Exposure to healthcare, clinical, or regulated domains; hospital or public-sector customers.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML, LLMs, or agent-based architectures.
• Azure Cloud certifications.
• Familiarity with .NET and React.
• Degree in Computer Science or similar field.

Solution Shaping & Business Partnership:

• Act as architectural counterpart to Product Management translating business goals into solution options.
• Own end-to-end solution design delivering value to customers.
• Challenge and refine requirements, helping distinguish real problems from requested features.
• Present options to non-technical stakeholders.
• Build solution artefacts such as overviews, capability maps, integration blueprints.
• Partner with Delivery on sequencing and phasing.
• Learn audiology domain for credible input.

Customer & Pre-Sales Engagement:

• Lead technical and solution workshops with customers and partners.
• Engage in pre-sales including technical scoping, proposals, RFP responses.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor during escalations and troubleshooting.
• Provide customer and market insights to platform strategy.

Domain & System Architecture:

• Serve as technical consultant ensuring architectural integrity and domain boundaries.
• Shape domain models and identify integration points.
• Define APIs and event contracts across microservices.
• Evaluate initiatives for architectural feasibility.
• Support teams with design and technology selection.
• Participate in architecture reviews and governance.
• Coach teams on DDD, Clean Architecture and best practices.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, documentation, and ADRs.
