Software Engineer (AI Governance)

• 3+ years of full-stack development experience in a professional setting
• 1+ years writing code in Go, ideally in current or most recent role
• Proficiency in building distributed systems with Go
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting abilities with persistence to drive solutions
• Self-motivated with a creative and analytical mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience with TypeScript and React
• Background in developer tooling, platform engineering, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Curiosity about latest tech trends and developer tools ecosystem

• Design and build product features that set standards for remote development in self-hosted environments
• Create and improve open source projects integrating with VS Code, JetBrains, and other developer tools
• Champion best practices to internal team members and external contributors
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams and partners like JetBrains for product integrations
• Document design, implementation, and operations of systems for team knowledge sharing
• Support Coder's enterprise user base alongside Customer Success teams
• Work with cutting-edge AI technologies to create seamless developer experiences
• Rapidly iterate from prototype to implementation in a reactive team environment
