AI Product Manager

Must-haves:

• Use AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, n8n regularly and follow the AI product space closely.
• Proven product management experience shipping AI products, prototypes, public projects, agent workflows, or eval suites.
• Experience building or shaping evals.
• Understanding of tool loops, planners, scaffolding, context management, and constraints of agentic systems.
• Strong product instincts on trade-offs, user value, and product quality.
• Good UX taste with ability to articulate product feel.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to structure fuzzy problems.

For senior candidates:

• Experience shipping AI in production with real LLM or agent features.
• Ownership of ambiguous product areas from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Data fluency including SQL and product metrics.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without authority.

For earlier-career candidates:

• Rapid learning and shipping capabilities.
• Low attachment to traditional PM methodologies.
• Significant hands-on AI tinkering or non-trivial AI projects.
• Visible public building such as demos, writing, talks, or open-source work.

Nice to have:

• Workflow automation, orchestration, or developer tooling experience.
• Open-source and community involvement.
• Founding or early-stage startup experience.
• Coding background.
• Growth experimentation experience.
• Public writing or speaking experience.

AI Trust:

• Focus on evals, observability, traces, guardrails, reliability, latency, cost, debugging, and human-in-the-loop patterns to make AI dependable in production.

AI Building / Super Agent:

• Develop AI-first product features including Super Agent, custom memory, Skills, computer and browser use, files, chat-first building, and proactive suggestions.

• Lead or collaborate on an AI workstream, contributing to the future direction of AI products at n8n.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Product Marketing, DevRel, Community, Support, and Customer Success teams to deliver product outcomes.
