Android Developer - AI Finance Agent

BJAK is a fintech company originally founded in 2019 that built the first mobile-first insurance platform in Southeast Asia, accessible online by millions. The company is now expanding its services to include spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travelling financial products. BJAK's teams operate globally with over 20 nationalities, focusing on building next-generation financial products for a broad audience in the region.

• Strong native Android experience using Kotlin.
• Experience shipping Android apps used by real users.
• Good understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Strong product sense and care for user experience.
• Ability to debug production issues and improve app performance, reliability, and quality.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous and fast-paced startup environments without lowering standards.

• Build and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted user journeys.
• Turn complex financial flows into simple, fast, and reliable mobile experiences.
• Work closely with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to take features from idea to production.
• Own app quality focusing on performance, crash rate, loading states, edge cases, and release stability.
• Use production feedback, analytics, and customer behaviour to improve the product after launch.
• Integrate APIs, authentication, secure data handling, and financial workflows with strong attention to reliability.

This role is remote but candidates must be based in Poland. English is the main working language and strong English communication skills are required.
