The original mission of BJAK is to provide smarter ways to plan, save and grow money. Started in 2019, BJAK built the first mobile-first insurance platform in Southeast Asia, enabling online insurance access to millions. BJAK is expanding its financial services to include spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travelling, aiming to help people get more from their money daily. The company has globally distributed teams with over 20 nationalities, including remote workers.

• Strong native Android experience using Kotlin.
• Experience shipping Android apps used by real users.
• Good understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow, as well as modern Android development.
• Strong product sense and care for UX beyond screens and tickets.
• Ability to debug production issues and improve app performance, reliability, and quality.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and moving fast without lowering standards.

• Build and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted user journeys.
• Turn complex financial flows into simple, fast, and reliable mobile experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to take features from idea to production.
• Own app quality concerning performance, crash rates, loading states, edge cases, and release stability.
• Use production feedback, analytics, and customer behavior to improve apps after launch.
• Integrate APIs, authentication, secure data handling, and financial workflows with attention to reliability.

This role is remote but requires candidates to be based in Poland. Strong English communication skills are required as English is the main working language. The interview process includes an online assessment or practical task, role-specific interview, and CEO/final round, aiming to finish within one week for strong candidates.
