Mobile Architect (POS Terminal)

• At least 8 years of experience in system design, architecture, and development in the POS terminal domain.
• Strong expertise in Android Native development (Java/Kotlin) with deep understanding of Android-based POS terminal solutions.
• Experience in cross-platform mobile development such as Flutter, familiarity with C, JavaScript for POS applications.
• Strong knowledge of EMV security protocols including chip transactions, encryption, and key management.
• Experience with hardware integration for POS devices like card readers, pin pads, printers.
• Deep understanding of payment systems architecture including integration with payment processors and gateways.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance principles applied in financial systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for managing complex system interactions.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership abilities focused on mentoring engineers and driving process improvements.

• Lead the design and architecture of POS terminal solutions ensuring security, scalability, performance, and hardware integration.
• Develop and maintain architectural documents and diagrams for POS terminal systems.
• Make architectural decisions integrating payment technologies and EMV standards.
• Lead development of POS-related applications.
• Optimize system performance and security around payment processing and EMV protocols.
• Participate in planning with product and engineering teams.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for mobile and embedded systems development, especially for Android Native.
• Define and enforce software engineering best practices across teams.
• Ensure stability and reliability of POS terminal products and applications.
• Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams.
• Participate in hiring processes for engineers with POS systems and mobile development expertise.
