Senior QA Automation Engineer (K/M) - Java / API

• Minimum 6 years of experience in test automation
• Strong knowledge of Java (version 17+) including OOP and Clean Code principles
• Practical experience with REST Assured and JUnit 5
• Good knowledge of REST API and experience with SOAP/WSDL
• Experience testing backend systems, APIs, and integration processes
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Experience working with Kafka or other asynchronous communication solutions
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins and/or Bamboo
• Experience with Allure, Jira, and/or qTest
• Fluent English communication skills (B2/C1 level)
• Ability to share knowledge and mentor junior team members

Nice to have:

• Experience with Selenium/Playwright
• Practical use of AI tools like GitHub Copilot in test automation

• Design, create, and maintain automated API, integration, and data flow tests
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks
• Create regression tests and integrate them into CI/CD processes
• Test REST API and SOAP/WSDL services
• Automate and test integration processes including asynchronous Kafka flows
• Verify backend data and processes using SQL
• Analyze test results and prepare execution reports and evidence
• Collaborate with Developers, Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams
• Support and develop the Automation First approach
• Utilize AI and GitHub Copilot to improve automation efficiency
• Mentor and support less experienced team members by sharing knowledge
