DevOps Engineer

TransferRoom is a hyper-growth B2B SaaS SportsTech company and the only digital marketplace in the world focusing on the global football industry. The platform is used by 800+ clubs including Man City, Liverpool, PSG, 550 agencies, and 8000 professional players, facilitating over 6000 transfers since its launch in 2017. The company operates with cross-functional squads responsible for full product lifecycle from infrastructure to data services. Offices are located in Bankside, London, with additional tech teams in Poland and Ukraine.

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Startup/Scale-Up experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Proven expertise in DataOps, including tools such as Azure Data Factory, Liquibase, or RedGate Flyway.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud computing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell, Python, C#, or Bash.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Passion for automation and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with YAML, HCL, and JSON.
• Experience using Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Administration experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Redis and Cosmos DB administration.

• Collaborate with Quality Engineering Development team to design, deploy, and manage secure, reliable, and scalable test infrastructure and tooling.
• Own and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, identifying root causes and deploying effective solutions.
• Stay current with latest advancements in cloud technologies and best practices.
• Write and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
• Lead and participate in ongoing transformation of SRE processes to improve infrastructure stability and reliability.
