Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience as Senior System Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or a similar role.
• Practical experience in on-premise and bare-metal environments.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker with ability to diagnose networking issues including CNI and Ingress.
• Skilled in administering Unix/Linux systems, system and network problem diagnosis, and experience with reverse proxies (nginx, HAProxy).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and automation using Ansible, Bash, or Python.
• Understanding of SLA, SLI, SLO concepts, monitoring, and incident management.
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and storage management, including Object Storage (S3-compatible) performance diagnostics.
• Fluent in Polish and at least B2 level in English for technical documentation.

Nice to have:

• Experience designing or maintaining Disaster Recovery architectures.
• Background in Cyber Security.
• Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, RHCSA, or LFCS.
• Familiarity with GitOps approaches and tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with large Object Storage / S3-compatible systems.
• Experience working in product or SaaS environments focused on service reliability and availability.

• Implement, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters operating on on-premise and bare-metal environments.
• Develop cloud-agnostic infrastructure architecture prepared for hybrid and cloud environments.
• Design and develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and scripts in Bash/Python to minimize manual and repetitive operations.
• Collaborate with development teams to define, measure, and optimize SLA, SLI, and SLO for SaaS service reliability.
• Diagnose complex infrastructure and network issues spanning Linux systems, TCP/IP stacks, DNS, reverse proxy (e.g., nginx, HAProxy), Kubernetes, and storage layers.
• Develop proactive observability stacks using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki, creating metrics, dashboards, and alerts.
• Participate in incident handling by analyzing root causes and creating technical post-mortems to eliminate recurring problems.
• Maintain existing Docker Swarm environments and supporting infrastructure.
• Manage network and storage infrastructure, optimizing performance and traffic to external S3-compatible Object Storage providers.
• Share knowledge within the team and assist in implementing new work standards related to automation, reliability, and modern DevOps/SRE approaches.
