QA Automation Engineer

Tpay is a Polish fintech company based in Poznań, operating as a payment operator for e-commerce and online services for over 15 years. Their clients include RTV Euro AGD, Media Expert, Jakdojade.pl, Koleo, PKP Informatyka, X-KOM, PZU, Pekao SA, and Biedronka.

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in software testing
• Knowledge of testing theory and basic ISTQB concepts
• Practical experience in manual testing of web applications (frontend and backend)
• Ability to create test scenarios and correctly report bugs
• Experience with test and issue management tools like Jira
• Practical experience with REST API testing using Postman
• Knowledge of GIT and basic command line skills in Windows and Linux environments
• Intermediate programming skills in any language
• Experience in frontend and/or API test automation with at least intermediate knowledge in one area
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Curiosity, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, responsibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Docker
• Practical knowledge of any Linux system
• Experience with Java
• Experience with Rest Assured and Playwright frameworks
• Experience working with Appium

• Participation in defining acceptance criteria for new functionalities
• Creating test scenarios and cases and performing manual web application tests
• Reporting test results and logging defects
• Creating and maintaining automated tests at integration, end-to-end, and smoke levels
• Developing API test automation with Rest Assured and frontend tests with Playwright
• Active participation in project meetings and collaboration within a Scrum team
• Ensuring software quality and supporting problem resolution
• Mentoring less experienced colleagues and sharing knowledge
• Preparing and updating documentation for automated testing tools and tests
