The role is part of the store distribution engineering team, working on systems that ensure product availability in stores and improve depot colleague experience and fulfillment network efficiency.

Wymagania

  • Around 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer developing mobile applications for Android.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of application architectures with practical ability.
  • Experience with libraries and tools such as Jetpack Compose, Hilt/Dagger/Koin, Coroutines/Flow, Retrofit/OkHttp/Ktor.
  • Strong code quality awareness including TDD, unit/instrumentation tests, UI tests, and familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, MockK, Robolectric, Wiremock).
  • Practical experience with CI/CD tools and automation such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD or similar.
  • Excellent understanding of language and framework, and knowledge of the underlying abstraction layer.
  • Ability to solve business problems with technical strategies (e.g., push vs pull, real time vs batches, sync vs async).
  • Minimal need for guidance and capability to mentor others.

  • Design, propose, and review architecture design.
  • Develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
  • Focus on performance, availability, reliability, and security.
  • Work on cross-platform, lightweight, and mobile-first progressive web applications.
  • Contribute to feature definition for services owned by the team.
  • Communicate progress effectively to team members, manager, and wider colleagues.
  • Lead delivery of valuable features and continually propose and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with Software Development Engineers across teams working on similar business problems.
  • Help elaborate requirements where necessary.
  • Work in an Agile environment.
  • Review and contribute code.
