Senior Software Engineer in Test

The company’s team has over 400 members speaking 19 languages, advocating for air passenger rights through APRA and providing a stress-free travel experience worldwide.

• 5+ years as a Senior Developer in Test / Senior Engineer in Test / Senior SDET.
• Strong coding skills in at least one major language (Ruby/Rails, JavaScript, TypeScript) preferred.
• Hands-on experience writing test automation frameworks from scratch, preferably with Playwright.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs with tools like Bruno or Postman.
• Experience with contract testing tools like Pact.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms, specifically GitHub Actions.
• Experience or eagerness to use AI-assisted testing tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for flaky tests and integration issues.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ownership mindset: ship, monitor, and fix solutions.
• Clear and effective communication in cross-functional agile teams.
• Strong command of English language (spoken and written).

• Design, develop and maintain scalable and robust automated test suites: unit, integration, API, end-to-end, regression, and performance.
• Build and evolve internal test automation frameworks, libraries and shared utilities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions.
• Introduce and grow contract testing between services.
• Utilize production observability tools (Sentry, Grafana, ELK) to inform quality signals.
• Collaborate with the security team on testing sensitive and regulated flows.
• Develop and execute performance, load, and stress tests with k6.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategies for new features.
• Analyze test failures and production incidents to improve test coverage and reduce regression.
• Apply AI-assisted tooling for test generation, exploratory testing, and test data.

The role is located in Poland (Kraków, Gdańsk, or Warsaw) with hybrid working arrangements. Strong command of English is required. The company customizes interviews to accommodate special needs including neurodiverse candidates and encourages applications from refugees and displaced individuals.
