Senior Software Engineer in Test

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Developer in Test / Senior Engineer in Test / Senior SDET.
• Strong coding skills in at least one major language (Ruby/Rails, JavaScript, TypeScript preferred).
• Hands-on experience writing test automation frameworks from scratch, preferably using Playwright.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs with tools like Bruno or Postman.
• Experience with contract testing between services (e.g., Pact).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms, specifically GitHub Actions.
• Experience or strong interest in using AI-assisted testing tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for flaky tests, race conditions, and complex integrations.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Ownership mindset: shipping, monitoring, and fixing delivered solutions.
• Clear and effective communication in an agile environment.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites: unit, integration, API, end-to-end, regression, and performance.
• Build and evolve internal test automation frameworks, libraries, and shared utilities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions.
• Introduce and grow contract testing between services.
• Turn production observability tools (Sentry, Grafana, ELK) into quality signals.
• Collaborate with the security team on testing sensitive and regulated flows.
• Develop and execute performance, load, and stress tests with k6.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategies.
• Analyze test failures and production incidents to identify root causes and improve coverage.
• Apply AI-assisted tooling to test generation, exploratory testing, and test data.
