Senior Software Engineer in Test

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Developer/Engineer in Test or Senior SDET.
• Strong coding skills in at least one major programming language (Ruby/Rails, JavaScript, TypeScript) preferred.
• Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch using tools such as Playwright.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Bruno or Postman.
• Experience with contract testing (e.g., Pact).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms, especially GitHub Actions.
• Experience or eagerness to use AI-assisted testing tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for flaky tests and integration issues.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Ownership mindset: shipping, monitoring, and fixing solutions.
• Clear and effective communication, able to collaborate across cross-functional agile teams.
• Strong command of English, spoken and written.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites: unit, integration, API, end-to-end, regression, and performance testing.
• Build and evolve internal test automation frameworks, libraries, and shared utilities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions.
• Introduce and grow contract testing between services.
• Use production observability tools (Sentry, Grafana, ELK) to link system behavior to test coverage.
• Collaborate with the security team on testing sensitive and regulated flows.
• Develop and execute performance, load, and stress tests with k6.
• Collaborate with developers and product manager to define test strategies.
• Analyze test failures and production incidents to improve coverage and reduce regression risk.
• Apply AI-assisted tooling for test generation, exploratory testing, and test data.
