Freelance Full-Stack Web App Developer

Mindrift is a platform connecting specialists with innovative technology projects to develop high-quality AI technologies by combining real-world expertise with advanced AI development. The role is for the Tendem project, building interactive browser-based applications for real-world use cases.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in full-stack web development or shipping interactive web applications.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte).
• Solid backend experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) and/or Node.js (Express, NestJS).
• Hands-on with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite) and schema design.
• Experience implementing REST APIs, request validation, error handling, and authentication flows.
• Familiarity with deployment platforms like Vercel, Netlify, Render, Fly.io, Railway.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs or AI services is a strong plus.
• Comfortable with version control (Git) and basic testing practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to robust product delivery.
• Self-directed with ability to architect, build, and ship features independently.
• Portfolio of shipped web applications required.
• English proficiency at Upper-intermediate (B2) or above.

• Build interactive web applications using frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue, and backend APIs with Python/FastAPI/Flask or Node/Express.
• Design and implement data models and persistence using SQL (PostgreSQL, SQLite) or NoSQL.
• Implement authentication, session management, and role-based access.
• Integrate third-party APIs and AI/LLM services (OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Manage state, validate user input, and handle error and loading states.
• Develop standalone Python tools and scripts for data processing and backend utilities.
• Review, debug, optimize, and refactor full-stack applications for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Write clear testable code and debug issues across frontend, backend, and database.
