Platform Architect - Developer Experience & AI SDLC

LUX MED Sp. z o.o. is part of the LUX MED Group, employing nearly 700 IT specialists who implement and maintain numerous IT solutions that support medical staff, patient service, and clients. The IT division operates in over 20 agile scrum teams working closely with Product Owners. The organization promotes process automation and standardization, knowledge sharing, flexibility in technology choices, and innovation proposals.

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Architect
• Experience building developer platforms (Developer Experience/Internal Developer Platform)
• Experience with Backstage or similar solutions
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns and developer blueprints
• Experience defining SDLC standards and governance
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Argo CD and quality gates
• Experience with AWS or GCP, including cloud services, IAM, and integrations
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization
• Familiarity with observability and log standardization
• Experience or interest in AI in SDLC including LLM, Bedrock, Vertex AI
• Ability to build roadmap, backlog, and platform vision
• Strong platform and product mindset (platform as a product)

• Define strategy and roadmap for Developer Experience and SDLC
• Manage backlog for the developer platform including Backstage, CI/CD, and AI tooling
• Build and develop the developer portal (Backstage) with catalog services, golden paths, and self-service
• Define and enforce developer standards and blueprints including architecture patterns and reference implementations
• Standardize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Argo CD with quality gates and governance
• Define quality gates covering code quality, testing, security, and compliance
• Implement AI-assisted SDLC integrating with Bedrock, Vertex AI, and Copilot
• Standardize operational data (logs, metrics, traces) as AI foundation
• Build self-service mechanisms for teams (deployment, provisioning, platform features)
• Design security by design approach
• Reduce complexity of the development process and shorten time to market
• Collaborate with product teams and leadership to shape engineering standards
