Technical Product Owner - Rexis Field Service

Roche Digital Technology (RDT) is a global team focused on powering Roche with cutting-edge digital technologies, leveraging artificial intelligence, data, and scalable tech innovations within healthcare. The role involves overseeing platforms that enable Roche's commercial customer service ecosystem, bridging business product owners, engineering squads, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and enterprise architecture.

• Proven experience defining tasks, coaching engineers, and leading medium to large-scale technical initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills translating business processes into technical specifications.
• Expertise in Agile principles including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Ability to define and enforce non-functional requirements such as scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Deep experience with API-first architectures, integration patterns, and event-driven approaches.
• Familiarity with DevOps and platform engineering practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated validation, release management, and cloud-native operating models.
• Hands-on experience in testing strategies, defect management, IT governance, and system documentation.
• Commercial acumen managing budgets and vendor costs with resource optimization.
• Experience providing strategic technical guidance and mentoring senior engineers.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Full professional fluency in English.

• Own the product backlog for assigned systems, prioritizing features and operational needs with accountability for backlog execution following CSV and QA practices.
• Ensure solutions comply with architectural patterns, enterprise technology strategies, and non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with Business Product Owners to align technical execution with commercial objectives.
• Act as System Owner ensuring application fitness, security, and governance compliance throughout lifecycle.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation for financial optimization.
• Drive capture of product knowledge, system documentation, and operational runbooks to support continuity.
• Coordinate integrations, data workflows, and MSP collaboration; participate actively in Agile ceremonies.

This position requires full professional fluency in English. Hybrid work schedule mandates presence in the office two days per week on average.
