Data Center Technician (DCT)

P&P Solutions is seeking a Data Center Technician (DCT) to support operations in a data center environment with a project length of 220 days. The role is based in Warsaw with onsite work and occasional travel to other client locations mainly in Poland.

• Practical experience with Data Center infrastructure
• Experience installing and configuring servers and network devices
• Good knowledge of Rack & Stack processes
• Familiarity with rack cabinets, PDUs, cabling, and labeling infrastructure
• Basic knowledge of computer networks: LAN, patching, switches
• Ability to perform basic hardware diagnostics and problem solving
• Knowledge of Asset Management and Inventory Management
• Experience working according to Data Center and Change Management procedures
• Ability to maintain technical documentation and reporting
• Precision, good organization, and independence
• Willingness to work in data center conditions (noise, temperature, limited space)
• Willingness to handle heavy IT equipment installation and relocation
• Readiness for business trips domestically and occasionally abroad
• Valid driving license category B

Nice to have:

• Obtaining a security clearance (PSC) starting within 45 days of employment

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of server and network hardware
• Execution of Rack & Stack and patching infrastructure tasks
• Mounting devices in rack cabinets and organizing cabling and PDUs
• Basic hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Handling Asset and Inventory Management processes
• Performing changes following Data Center and Change Management procedures
• Documenting completed work and updating technical documentation
• Collaborating with the team on current infrastructural tasks
• Willingness to travel to various client locations for operational support

Security clearance (PSC) is required and the verification process must begin within the first 45 days of cooperation.
