Senior Application Development Engineer

Citigroup's role for Senior Application Development Engineer is based in Warsaw. The position involves coordinating with the Technology team to lead application systems analysis and programming activities.

• 6-10 years of experience in application development or systems analysis.
• Extensive experience in system analysis and software application programming.
• Proven experience managing and implementing successful projects.
• Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of Applications Development.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.

• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions and identify system enhancements.
• Resolve high impact problems and projects through evaluation of complex business and system processes.
• Provide advanced applications programming expertise and ensure compliance with architecture blueprint.
• Develop and enforce standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of business areas such as architecture and infrastructure.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
• Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, and escalate issues transparently.
