Data Annotation Project Manager

Allegro is leveraging AI technology by enabling its business, technology, and research teams to maintain high-quality annotated datasets and evaluation pipelines. The role involves managing annotation projects and collaborating with ML engineers and product leaders to power AI and ML models.

• Demonstrated ability to manage data annotation projects across multiple teams with sustainable processes and consensus building.
• Practical knowledge of data annotation and quality assurance methods.
• Good understanding of machine learning concepts, tasks, and metrics.
• Understanding of statistical concepts applicable to data annotation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English.
• Experience managing annotation guidelines.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• High organizational skills, problem solving, and ability to work in deadline-driven environments.
• Proficiency with standard workflow software such as JIRA and Excel.

Nice to have:

• Degree in Linguistics or STEM related fields.
• Ability to use metrics for evaluating research or business outcomes.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Python, regular expressions, GitHub, and coding agents for data processing and workflow automation.

• Own the annotation pipelines from raw data to annotated datasets satisfying technical and operational constraints.
• Work with data from multiple sources and domains such as text, images, and structured datasets in multiple languages.
• Cooperate with Product Managers and Tech Leaders to understand business needs, collect requirements, and allocate resources including budgets and experts.
• Prepare and improve annotation guidelines by analyzing feedback, annotations, and quality/efficiency metrics.
• Implement and enhance quality assurance processes to optimize cost and quality of datasets.
• Analyze annotated datasets to ensure high quality and identify biases and risks for training ML models.
• Occasionally perform data annotation, provide feedback for tools, and propose new features.

Dane osobowe będą przetwarzane do czasu zakończenia postępowania rekrutacyjnego i przez okres możliwości dochodzenia ewentualnych roszczeń, a w przypadku wyrażenia zgody na udział w przyszłych postępowaniach rekrutacyjnych - do czasu wycofania tej zgody. Zgoda na przetwarzanie danych osobowych może zostać wycofana w dowolnym momencie.
