FinCrime Escalations Officer - Swedish

• Experience as a compliance or FinCrime officer in a major financial institution
• Experience acting as an escalation point within FinCrime operations
• Deep knowledge of AML and sanctions regulations
• Experience using internal and external systems and databases for investigations
• Ability to review policies and procedures and recommend changes
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to analyze complex information and drive resolutions
• Ability to prepare clear summary reports and proposals for management to mitigate or monitor risk
• Understanding of payment systems and markets, focusing on technology and mobile applications
• Fluency in English and Swedish at C1 level or above

• Fluency in additional languages

• Act as the escalation point for suspicious activity cases
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) according to local requirements
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and requests related to SARs
• Manage queries requiring second line of defence review
• Collaborate with the MLRO and escalate significant cases
• Monitor and detect rare or new suspicious activity patterns
• Resolve escalated cases within expected resolution times
• Participate in projects with management as needed
• Collaborate on training initiatives and new process implementations
