Regulatory Compliance Assurance Manager

• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
• Over 3 years of risk and/or compliance experience within fintech, traditional financial institutions, or consulting firms
• Expertise in assurance or internal/external audit focusing on risk and compliance domains
• Experience with controls, risk, policy, and corporate governance
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to hold first line of defense accountable for regulatory compliance matters
• Experience analyzing large data sets to identify actionable insights
• Results-driven, pragmatic, detail-oriented approach
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Willingness to develop expertise and interest in compliance
• Experience creating or utilizing test scripts and procedures
• Relevant compliance qualifications such as ACAMS, ACOI, or ICA
• Experience addressing regulatory compliance or financial crime risks

Nice to have:

• Experience with UK FCA (FCA Handbook), Bank of England/PRA (PRA Handbook), EBA, ECB, and/or Bank of Lithuania regulations
• Knowledge of insurance (ICOBS), crypto-assets regulation (MICA), investment protections (MIFID), financial promotions, anti-bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, conduct (Consumer Duty), and/or payments (PSR 2017)
• Experience detecting and investigating risk incidents and KRI breaches
• Experience mapping regulations to risks and controls
• Data analytics skills, including proficiency in SQL and/or Python

• Assist with the design and implementation of compliance testing and assurance, including risk-based compliance assessment, control testing, and assurance plans
• Complete assurance reviews and testing activities across different business areas using advanced data analytics
• Establish automated queries and dashboards to enable frequent testing and generate informative insights
• Identify opportunities for improved adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards within compliance processes
• Support and enhance controls from a second-line regulatory compliance perspective across business areas
• Execute project plans addressing remediation efforts and testing review findings, including process updates, documentation, and training
• Drive execution of local or multi-jurisdictional concurrent reviews across departments, including management reporting on outcomes and findings
• Challenge colleagues to build efficient, world-class risk management controls and processes
• Use data analytics to identify actionable insights leading to significant control environment enhancements
• Manage compliance and data specialists to complete compliance assurance reviews depending on experience
