Android Developer

The role is within the company Idemia, involved in developing Android applications primarily focused on mobile payments and security features.

• 5+ years of experience in Android app development, preferably with Android SDK rather than UI/UX.
• English proficiency at B2 level minimum.
• Experience with Kotlin, Java, and Kotlin Multi Platform.
• Knowledge of Android SDK.
• Experience in testing with Groovy, Spock, JUnit, and JC2 (internal testing framework).
• Build and release skills using Gradle and Jenkins.
• Mobile security expertise including Android Keystore, certificate pinning, pairing, Google Play Integrity, secure backend communication, and mobile SDK protection mechanisms.
• Experience with NFC payments and HCE implementation.
• Familiarity with methodologies such as clean architecture, hexagonal architecture, multimodule, SOLID, design patterns, reactive programming, and functional programming.

• Transform requirements into software according to design.
• Use programming, scripting, and database languages to write software code that meets requirements and optimizes software performance.
• Identify existing software components, libraries, and frameworks to reuse in solutions.
• Apply software development best practices including coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Contribute to requirement analysis and estimations.
• Support software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution by correcting errors, responding to scope changes, and coding enhancements.
• Build up software structure including functions, design patterns, and layers.
• Document and demonstrate solutions with code comments, layouts, diagrams, and charts.
• Contribute to software architecture specifications and technology assessments.
• Code complex modules within agreed quality, deadlines, and costs.
• Perform design and code reviews and assess software performance optimization.
• Contribute and promote technical governance.
• Produce quotations.
• Perform complex troubleshooting.
• Coach and manage a small team of Software Development Engineers.
