Senior Mainframe Developer

The role is within a highly experienced team specializing in development and maintenance of mission-critical systems on the IBM Mainframe platform. The applications support clients in banking, insurance, and other regulated industries.

• At least 5 years of commercial experience on the IBM Mainframe platform.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and z/OS.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Db2 databases including SQL development, query optimization, and data analysis.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and design effective solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting production environments.
• Proactive attitude with strong ownership and accountability.
• Strong communication skills.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance sectors.
• Knowledge of mainframe modernization and AI-driven software development solutions.

• Develop and maintain applications on the IBM Mainframe platform using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and z/OS.
• Design and implement solutions based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize existing applications.
• Collaborate effectively within an international team environment.

Nice to have:

• Work with Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD practices in mainframe environments.
• Mentor and support junior developers.
