IT Admin Specialist

Dataedo develops globally recognized software for metadata management, including database documentation, ETL and BI tools, data profiling, and data lineage. The company operates on a subscription model with over $4M ARR and serves 400+ active clients worldwide, including Disney, LA Clippers, Fujitsu, Intel, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. They have a 40-person team distributed between Poland and the USA, working 100% remotely.

• Minimum 2-3 years experience as IT Admin, SysAdmin, or DevOps
• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization (orchestration with Kubernetes is a plus)
• Experience with cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS
• Experience with Git and CI pipelines
• Knowledge of Active Directory, web servers (IIS, nginx), and network protocols
• Database configuration knowledge (ideally SQL Server and PostgreSQL)
• Practical approach to security, not just procedural
• Ability to read technical documentation in English and fluent Polish

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of SAML / SSO
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Practical knowledge of ISO 27001 from implementation and audit perspective

DevOps (infrastructure, cloud, automation):

• Manage cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS) for internal and client use, including automation, monitoring, and cost control
• Deploy and maintain container services (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Administer Windows and Linux servers as well as web servers (IIS, nginx)
• Create and manage test database servers
• Maintain GitLab CI pipelines
• Handle technical escalations from the Support team as needed

Security:

• Technical ownership of security area
• Manage permissions and access (Entra ID / Azure AD, Office365, Jira) with regular reviews
• Keep systems up to date and secure through regular updates and vulnerability management
• Support ISO 27001 certification and cooperate with security testing vendors
