The Corporate Actions Product Area focuses on building technology that automates the processing of corporate action events for major investment managers, delivering financial technology solutions in the FinTech domain. The position is part of an international organization and reports to the Director of Engineering within a team of Engineering Managers.
Wymagania
- Deep software engineering expertise and experience designing and evolving complex systems.
- 4+ years of experience leading software engineers.
- Strong foundation in software engineering with the ability to coach on architecture, system design, quality engineering, AI-assisted development, observability, performance, and operational excellence.
- Ability to build a collaborative and open culture.
- Effective communication across a large international organization.
- Proficiency with .NET ecosystem technologies including C#, .NET Core, .NET 6+, and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
- Understanding of web application architecture, including RESTful services, microservices/modular monolith patterns, and event-driven systems.
- Knowledge of modern UI frameworks such as Angular (preferred), React, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud-native design principles, CI/CD pipelines, observability, resilience, and scalability.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and distributed system design.
- Experience with data storage technologies like SQL Server, NoSQL, and caching strategies.
- Understanding of AI-assisted software development and modern engineering productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
Nice to have:
- Exposure to financial systems or capital markets platforms or high-volume transactional systems.
- Experience with frontend micro-frontend (MFE) architectures.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and platform engineering concepts.
Obowiązki
- Lead 1-2 teams of Software Engineers within the Investment Operations Corporate Actions Product Area, including staffing and team development.
- Work closely with Product Management to understand and refine customer outcomes.
- Lead day-to-day scrum team activities, managing short-term deliverables and long-term improvements.
- Collaborate with other engineering leaders on product quality, security, delivery, system performance, and related improvements.
- Provide strategic input for the direction of the product areas.
