Senior Java Developer

The role involves working on the development and maintenance of IT systems in the electro-energy sector. The position is based in Wrocław, Poland, with 1-2 days per month working from the office. Employment is on a B2B contract.

• At least 8 years of experience programming in Java
• Knowledge of design patterns, integration patterns, and microservices
• Experience with frameworks: Spring Boot (core, data, security), JPA, Hibernate
• Proficient with REST API
• Knowledge of SQL databases, preferably Oracle
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including secure code and basic code scanning
• Experience with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes or Nomad
• Understanding of best practices for web application UI design and usability

Nice to have:

• Apache Kafka
• MinIO
• Jenkins/GitLab
• Creating/modifying CI/CD pipelines and writing config files for Docker/Kubernetes
• Knowledge of the energy sector
