Data Architect

The role involves joining a strategic transformation program for a client in the insurance sector, responsible for designing and developing a Cloud Data Platform supporting claims and benefits, building modern data architecture used for reporting, analytics, and AI solutions.

• Minimum 7–10 years of IT experience, including at least 3–5 years as Tech Lead, Data Engineering Lead, Lead Developer, or Data Architect
• Experience designing and building data platforms in enterprise environments
• Participation in core insurance system implementations such as Guidewire or EIS
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, and integration design
• Practical experience with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, especially Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Event Hub
• Strong command of SQL and large volume data processing technologies
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment automation
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, and data security
• Experience in technical team leadership and architectural decision-making

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI/ML solutions and preparing data for AI models
• Experience designing event-driven architecture and knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect certifications
• Knowledge of Data Mesh concepts
• Experience in the insurance sector

• Design and develop Cloud Data Platform architecture
• Design and develop data products used by analytics, reporting, and AI
• Define architectural, design, and implementation standards
• Coordinate technical work of the team and support developers in problem-solving
• Conduct architectural reviews and code reviews
• Supervise construction and development of data layers
• Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and availability
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, Product Owners, and project teams
• Participate in estimations, work planning, and defining platform development direction

Data administrator is Clurgo sp. z o.o. with headquarters in Warsaw, ul. Jasna 14/16a.
