Mobile Software Engineer 2 (Android) - Technical Platform

As xLab within Grupa Allegro, the team builds the internal Design System for Allegro, focusing on native web and mobile components critical for the company. The team operates with significant independence and ownership, collaborating closely with other Android developers and the Design team to create and maintain UI elements.

• 2+ years of professional experience in native Android development using Kotlin.
• Understanding of both Jetpack Compose and XML View system.
• Knowledge of mobile application architecture patterns: MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture.
• Experience or readiness to write unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with Figma.
• Good communication skills in English and Polish, written and spoken.
• Open-mindedness, curiosity, and willingness to experiment.
• Experience cooperating closely with design teams.
• Ability to maintain quality and clean code.
• Daily use of AI tools to support research, code review, and code creation.

Nice to have:

• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Android Jetpack Compose.
• Experience using Coroutines in Android development.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy UI components for Android.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement innovative solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
• Maintain high code quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with mobile technologies and industry trends.
• Cooperate closely with the Design team and use Figma for design collaboration.
• Write unit and integration tests or be ready to learn to do so.
• Consult and explore alternative technical solutions beyond coding.
