Independent Developer with Node (Office based)

We are a collective of 17 people working in Krakow with no managers or corporate layers. We deliver 200+ projects across 23 industries, building pilots for early-stage products and maintaining long-term products. Our approach emphasizes autonomy, transparency, and work-life balance.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js
• Ability to work independently on client projects without daily direction
• Clear communication with non-technical people including founders, domain experts, and product owners
• Working level of English

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS and devops
• Awareness and experience in security
• Proficiency with AI coding tools
• Experience with early-stage products or validation-driven development
• Experience with JavaScript

• Build and maintain web applications in Node.js
• Work directly with clients and product owners to understand problems and shape solutions
• Build pilots for early-stage products with validation in mind (prioritizing speed over quality)
• Iterate on and develop established products, ensuring code quality and sustainability
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Work independently in small teams of 2-5 people
• Influence technical standards and practices across projects and the company
