Senior Java Developer

Antal is hiring for a long-term project within a large enterprise environment that involves development and maintenance of key business systems with microservice and monolithic architecture.

• Minimum 5 years commercial experience programming in Java
• Minimum 3 years experience with Apache Kafka
• Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Git and Maven
• Experience creating unit and integration tests using JUnit, TestNG, Spock, Testcontainers, WireMock
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming paradigms
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Helm
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ and Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with process engines and BPMN notation
• Experience with Angular
• Ability to design, develop, and scale applications in distributed environments
• Familiarity with patterns and mechanisms ensuring resilience in distributed systems
• Experience designing business domain independently
• Knowledge of monitoring, diagnostics, and performance analysis tools
• Ability to effectively use AI tools in software development
• Basic knowledge of IT Security used in design and development

Nice to have:

• Knowledge and practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience with cloud solutions
• Practical use of Agentic AI and AI agents in software development
• Experience designing architectures for high-scale systems with many users

• Development and maintenance of systems based on microservice and monolithic architectures
• Participation in architecture design and technology selection
• Optimization and automation of business processes
