Network Capacity Analyst

• Experience working with and/or building large scale resilient network environments
• Understanding of network resilience principles
• Background in capacity management, ideally in network environment (bandwidth, ports, routers, firewalls, servers)

• Drive improvement of capacity management within Connectivity to meet internal control requirements
• Prioritize capacity management activities based on risk to service, effort, and cost (including Total Cost of Ownership considerations)
• Represent Connectivity on the HSBC Capacity Management Community of Practice forum
• Determine sources of business demand measures driving capacity consumption for key Connectivity products
• Quantify relationship between business demand and capacity consumption
• Ensure all network infrastructure impact changes are assessed by Architects in Connectivity
• Work with business areas to ensure all programmes/projects/changes engage with the Connectivity Front Door process
• Prioritize efforts to reduce infrastructure service outages and repeat failures
• Ensure global capacity management standards are set and adhered to
• Use Continuous Improvement Methodology to improve services with domains and vendors
