Data engineer

Partner from the insurance sector undergoing technological transformation in data domain.

• Minimum 5 years experience working with data warehouses
• Experience in data modeling (star schemas, facts/dimensions) and <strong>ETL</strong> systems
• Practical knowledge of <strong>Azure</strong>, including <strong>Microsoft Fabric</strong>, <strong>Azure Data Factory</strong>, <strong>Azure DevOps</strong>, and <strong>GitHub</strong>
• Advanced skills in <strong>SQL</strong> and relational databases, preferably <strong>Oracle</strong>
• Knowledge of <strong>PowerBI</strong> for modeling and <strong>DAX</strong> programming
• Agile/Scrum experience and clear communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of <strong>Python</strong> and <strong>PySpark</strong>

Nice to have:

• Practical knowledge of <strong>SAS 4GL</strong>

• Implementing solutions compliant with data security regulations integrated with organizational standards in <strong>Azure</strong>
• Migrating and modernizing <strong>ETL</strong> processes and <strong>Oracle</strong> data structures to <strong>Azure</strong> using <strong>Microsoft Fabric</strong>
• Optimizing processes for performance and cost in on-premise and cloud environments
• Collaborating with IT units and external suppliers to resolve integration problems
• Creating efficient data and analytical models in <strong>Power BI</strong> using <strong>DAX</strong>
• Maintaining and monitoring data pipelines
