Administrator Systemów Informatycznych (K/M)

SALTUS Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych, operating in the insurance industry, is located in Sopot, Poland. The IT administration team consists of 8 staff members including IT administrators.

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an IT Systems Administrator
• Practical knowledge and experience with VMware virtual environments
• Practical knowledge of Windows Server and Linux systems
• Practical understanding of LAN/WAN networks
• Basic skills in managing Docker and Kubernetes containers
• Administration of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL databases including backup/restore/recovery, command line, data import/export, permissions, diagnostics, and SQL queries for administrative needs
• Independence and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to read technical documentation and analyze logs
• Communication skills including clear expression and active listening
• Assertiveness and responsibility for decisions
• Readiness to actively respond in emergencies
• Willingness to develop and share knowledge
• Good English language skills for reading documentation and information searching
• Category B driving license
• Minimum secondary education (higher technical education preferred)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Nginx, Docker, Kubernetes, Zabbix, Grafana, scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash), automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins)
• Certifications in server systems, databases, or network solutions

• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows Server server systems
• Manage database servers: MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
• Administer virtual environments and containerization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Basic administration of TCP/IP network (LAN/WAN)
• Operate backup systems and disaster recovery
• Participate in system implementations and updates
• Adhere to security policies
• Follow IT guidelines for insurance providers
• Support other teams regarding assigned systems and infrastructure
