Data Analyst

• Minimum of 4 years of experience applying analytical and statistical solutions to business problems
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in quantitative fields (Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent experience
• Understanding of the Payments and Banking Industry
• Knowledge of data, market intelligence, and business intelligence
• Experience managing multiple large projects with diverse teams
• Ability to incorporate new techniques to solve business problems
• Skilled in resource planning and delivery
• High proficiency in running SQL scripts to extract data from multiple sources
• Excellent skills in Excel and BI tools
• Intermediate knowledge of Python for data ETL, analysis, and automation
• Hands-on experience processing large data sets, understanding datamarts and data relationships, and familiarity with Big Data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive
• Ability to define and design analytical approaches ensuring proper metrics
• Knowledge of payment network transactional data is a plus
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Results oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good business acumen and ability to translate analytics into actionable recommendations
• Team oriented and collaborative with strong communication skills
• High attention to detail and quality in reports
• Proven ownership in project delivery

• Work with, extract, and manipulate large volumes of data; analyze, clean, and visualize large data sets
• Design, develop, and implement BI/reporting and analytic solutions
• Maintain regular reporting and provide bespoke data analysis to produce insights into business performance and opportunities for growth
• Create and deliver business-centric insights through visualization and storytelling
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to understand business requirements and manage requests
• Enhance analytical techniques by promoting new methodologies and best practices
• Provide subject matter expertise and quality assurance for complex data-driven analytical projects
• Identify opportunities to automate repeatable analysis or build streamlined solutions
• Collaborate with the wider Data Science team, CEE Leadership Team, and other Visa functions to design and refine value propositions

This is a hybrid position requiring attendance 3 days per week in the Warsaw office.
