Packaging Engineer – Gifting – Package Innovation

• Experience in packaging development within cosmetics, pharma, or consumer goods.
• A degree in Packaging Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge of packaging materials, suppliers, and development processes.
• Excellent organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and confidence presenting ideas to stakeholders.
• A creative and commercially aware mindset with a focus on delivering consumer-driven solutions.
• Ability to work across global teams with cultural awareness and collaboration.
• A problem-solver who can balance cost, quality, and speed to deliver results.

• Leading end-to-end development of packaging for giftable products and gift sets, from initial concept to commercial launch.
• Managing project governance, timelines, and risk to ensure smooth delivery across all stages of packaging development and NPI.
• Coordinating component and artwork development, including approvals, supplier alignment, and colour standards.
• Creating and maintaining accurate specifications, data, and Bills of Materials to support production and supply chain systems.
• Supporting pilot runs, line trials, and validation to ensure packaging is production-ready and meets technical requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing.
• Identifying opportunities to improve packaging innovation by staying up to date with new technologies and industry trends.
