Automation Engineer  (Kraków/Hybrid)

• 3+ years delivering Ansible-based automation into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English, comfortable in a multi-cultural/global environment
• Experience working in Agile methodologies
• Ability to work independently and within a diverse team
• Strong documentation, collaboration, and ownership mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience working with and improving IT Services underpinned by vendor software
• Product/domain experience in one or more of:
  • File Transmission products (e.g., IBM SFG/SSP/SEAS/CD)
  • Mainframe (z/OS) and job execution workflows
  • BMC Control-M
• Understanding of financial services compliance and risk management requirements

• Collaborate with key product stakeholders to understand processes end-to-end and identify areas for automation
• Design and implement performant and resilient automation addressing manual aspects of processes
• Apply security-by-default principles including secrets management, least privilege, and vulnerability management
• Monitor and improve process performance, optimizing for objectives and unknown scenarios
• Automate both processes and the testing of automation to ensure reliability
