Backend Engineer | Mid - Senior | Transition to Go | Saily

• Over 4 years of experience in backend development.
• Experience with backend languages such as PHP, Python, C#/.NET, Java, Kotlin.
• Proficient in system design, knowledgeable of design patterns.
• Previous experience with Kubernetes and microservice architecture is a plus.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (Cassandra, Redis).
• Previous experience with Kafka.
• Passionate about building APIs that are easy to use and understand.
• Strong product mindset focused on problems, outcomes, and impact.
• Curiosity about AI and excitement to work with AI agents.

• Enhance the Saily product by developing and maintaining new features.
• Create features supporting multi-dimensional personalization, A/B experimentation, and analytics.
• Develop and maintain a high-quality codebase.
• Constantly seek to improve code and performance.
• Mentor colleagues on development best practices and provide technical guidance.
• Influence the overall vision and long-term goals of the team.
• Perform research and development operations as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and design.
• Ensure smooth communication between all team members.

This is a hybrid position requiring office attendance 3 times a week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
