Backend Engineer | Mid | PHP | Systems Team

At Nord Security’s B2B team, they build cybersecurity products that enable businesses to protect themselves and their data. The teams collaborate across product, engineering, sales, marketing, and data to deliver secure, scalable solutions trusted globally.

• In-depth knowledge of PHP (3+ years).
• Hands-on use of AI tools for code generation, test creation, performance tuning, and debugging with strong ownership.
• Experience with system design and appropriate use of design patterns.
• Solid understanding of OOP, asynchronous programming, and design patterns.
• Passion for architecture and technologies with ability to create scalable and stable code.
• Understanding of core CI/CD principles, unit, and integration testing.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Cryptography.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and utilization of microservices across Nord Security's suite of products.
• Focus on delivery of high-quality code prioritizing scalability and security.
• Engage in technical and architectural decisions, refine processes, and contribute to the strategic direction of the product.
