Nord Security develops advanced VPN and cybersecurity tools including Threat Protection Pro and the NordLynx protocol, serving millions of users worldwide.

• Proven experience in quality assurance with a strong focus on backend and API testing.
• Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman and Insomnia.
• Experience testing APIs, preferably GraphQL.
• Strong experience in test case design, feature test plans, and managing test execution.
• Experience performing regression, functional, smoke, and ad-hoc testing.
• Experience with test automation.
• Familiarity with management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Quick understanding of complex technical systems and structures.
• Strong commitment to quality in the product.
• Experience with Agile or Kanban methodologies and working in development teams.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Frontend automation experience using scripting languages like JavaScript or TypeScript with Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or Selenium frameworks.
• Backend/API automation experience with NodeJS, Jest, Axios, and Supertest.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining existing test automation frameworks.
• Experience with Virtualization and GitLab CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

• Write manual and automated tests to conduct complex functional and integration tests confirming acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional testing in web, desktop applications, and back-end systems.
• Support, maintain, and improve all related test documentation.
• Report software defects and collaborate across multiple development teams to resolve them.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA team members to ensure high-quality products.
• Apply Agile principles effectively in daily activities.
• Advocate for product quality within a cross-functional development team.
• Contribute to feature testing strategies and actively participate in QA Guild discussions.
• Help ensure a smooth release process while maintaining high quality.
• Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and support best testing practices.
• Bring ideas and initiatives to foster creativity and innovation.
• Ensure the product meets high-quality standards for deployment.
