Engineering Manager

People Leadership & Team Development:

• Manage and grow Software Engineers and Tech Leads across teams
• Own the full people lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, mentorship, feedback, performance reviews, promotions, and exits
• Build a culture rooted in ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
• Balance staffing across teams, reallocating engineers as delivery needs shift

Delivery:

• Own on-time, high-quality delivery of product features working closely with Product and Design
• Align with Technical Account Managers to keep delivery on track with customer commitments
• Spot and clear bottlenecks slowing teams down

Engineering Standards & Practices:

• Champion group-wide SDLC standards and modern engineering practices such as scalable architecture, secure coding, and automation
• Push for better code quality, reliability, and testing discipline across teams
• Partner with the Chief Architect on architectural direction
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and code quality
• Define and track engineering metrics with the Head of Software Engineering
• Create space for experimentation to continuously raise standards

Collaboration Across SINGU:

• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Technical Account Managers on roadmaps and prioritization
• Coordinate with Platform Engineering on QA automation, DevOps, and data/reporting initiatives
• Build relationships with fellow Engineering Managers across SINGU Group to share best practices and align on common standards
• Participate in regular sessions (online and on-site) across SINGU locations; role includes some travel
